Nagpur robbery: Manager loots own bank of Rs 1.58cr to clear debt; held within 24 hours

A bank manager orchestrated a daring solo heist. Mayur Nepale stole over Rs1.5 crore from his bank’s strongroom. He was driven by crippling gambling debts. Nepale attempted to stage the crime as an external burglary. However, CCTV footage captured him arriving on his scooter. Police quickly identified and arrested him. Assets worth over Rs1 crore were recovered.
