Elon Musk ignited controversy by claiming there is a shortage of Americans who can do challenging physical work. His statement was a reaction to Ford CEO Jim Farley claiming that his company is struggling to fill 5000 mechanic positions. Social media users condemned Musk and said that’s how they first stole white-collar jobs from Americans and are now targeting the blue-collar ones.
