The BJD has rejected the Nuapada by-poll results, finishing third and accusing the Election Commission of failing to prevent BJP rigging. The party claims administrative and police machinery was used to manipulate the election, citing suspicious high voter turnout and altered figures. The BJP dismissed the allegations, urging the BJD to accept the voters’ decision.
