Twenty-eight blackbucks have died at Belagavi’s Rani Channamma Mini Zoo in three days, with preliminary investigations pointing to a bacterial infection. Forest Minister Eshwar Khandre has ordered a probe by experts and instructed zoo staff to isolate the remaining animals to prevent further spread of the disease.
