Vishen Lakhiani, an Indian-Malaysian CEO on an O-1 visa, was questioned by FBI agents upon arriving in Miami. He was asked about his international travel and social media presence. Lakhiani expressed concern over xenophobia and fearmongering impacting tourism and foreign student applications in the US. The O-1 visa holder said he can’t wait for the next US election.
