Tarn Taran Assembly by-election in Punjab recorded a voter turnout of 60.95%, a slight decrease from the 2022 assembly elections. Polling was peaceful across 222 booths, with the results to be declared today. The by-election, necessitated by the death of an AAP MLA, is a key test for the ruling party’s popularity.
