The Trump administration is repositioning the H-1B visa program for a “knowledge transfer” strategy, aiming to bring in skilled foreign workers to train Americans for high-tech roles. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that overseas experts will work in the U.S. for several years to rebuild advanced manufacturing before domestic workers take over.
