All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has been released from India’s squad for the first Test against South Africa to join the India A team. Assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate confirmed the decision, citing team balance and expected conditions for the opening game. Dhruv Jurel will feature in the playing XI alongside Rishabh Pant.
