Gujarat highway heist: Sand mafia convoy blocks woman officer, frees truck

A government officer’s attempt to seize a sand-laden truck on the Gandhinagar-Kalol highway was met with brazen defiance. Members of the sand mining mafia, using bikers and SUVs, intercepted the officer’s team, freed the truck, and threatened the officials. The truck was later found dumping its illegal cargo. Police have registered a case.
