Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking from Bhutan, expressed deep sorrow over the Delhi car blast and vowed that those responsible will be brought to justice. He assured that agencies are investigating the conspiracy and will get to the bottom of it. Defence minister Rajnath Singh also extended condolences and promised swift and thorough action, assuring the nation that perpetrators will not be spared.
