A small plane carrying hurricane relief supplies to Jamaica crashed into a pond in Coral Springs shortly after taking off from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Initial rescue efforts found no victims, and the operation has now transitioned to recovery. The aircraft was on a humanitarian mission to aid communities devastated by Hurricane Melissa.
