A former grocery chain owner, Ravi Prasad Reddy, arrested for murdering two friends, turned to vegetable vending after a Rs 5 crore loss during the Covid-19 pandemic. Driven by financial desperation and hatred, Reddy allegedly murdered his friends to rob them, inspired by crime films.
