RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat stated the organization welcomes individuals from all faiths, including Muslims and Christians, provided they identify as “sons of Bharat Mata” and part of Hindu society. He clarified that the RSS focuses on unity and a shared national identity, not caste or religion, and defended its legal standing as a recognized organization.
