A 20-year-old B Pharmacy student was fatally stabbed near railway tracks in Srirampura by her former boyfriend, Vignesh, after she repeatedly rejected his attempts to reconcile. The victim had previously complained to police about Vignesh’s harassment. Vignesh, who has a prior arrest for extortion, is currently at large.
