Manchester synagogue attack: Police say suspect on bail in rape case- Key points

A suspected terror attack outside a Manchester synagogue on Yom Kippur left two Jewish men dead and three injured. Police fatally shot assailant Jihad Al-Shamie, 35, a British national of Syrian descent, who was on bail for rape and possibly influenced by extreme Islamist ideology. Six others were arrested on terror charges.
