India strongly rejected Turkish President Erdogan’s “objectionable” remarks on Jammu and Kashmir at the UNGA, reiterating it’s a strictly bilateral issue with Pakistan requiring no third-party mediation. New Delhi lodged a strong protest, emphasizing that such statements on India’s territorial integrity are unacceptable. India also highlighted Pakistan’s cross-border terrorism as the root cause of the problem.
