Partap Singh, an undocumented Indian, was arrested after a multi-vehicle crash. The crash critically injured a five-year-old girl and her father. Homeland Security criticized California Governor Gavin Newsom for issuing Singh a commercial driver’s license. This is the second such case this year. Earlier, Harjinder Singh was charged with vehicular homicide in Florida.
