Incessant rainfall has triggered a flood-like situation across the Krishna River basin in Vijayapura and Bagalkot. Authorities have established care centers and relocated affected residents. Currently, 2.5 lakh cusecs of water are being released from the Almatti dam, with concerns that Masuti village could be submerged if the outflow increases further.
