The Supreme Court overturned the Karnataka High Court’s decision, cancelling the bail of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, his girlfriend Pavithra Gowda, and five others implicated in the Renukaswamy murder case. Darshan was arrested with 16 others for allegedly abducting, torturing, and murdering Renukaswamy, a 33-year-old fan.
