Adventure turns terror: 300 trekkers, including 100 women, rescued

Heavy rainfall caused the Kalu river to swell, stranding 300 trekkers, including 100 women, in the Malshej Ghat forest. A seven-hour rescue operation involving forest staffers and locals successfully brought the trekkers, mainly from Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune, to safety using ropes and ziplines.
