The Defence Acquisition Council, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has approved the procurement of ten capital acquisition proposals worth Rs 1.05 lakh crore through indigenous sourcing. This includes equipment like Recovery Vehicles, Electronic Warfare Systems, and Surface-to-Air Missiles. These procurements aim to enhance the operational readiness of the Armed Forces by improving mobility, air defense, and supply chain management.
