Two Indian students in the US have been sentenced to federal prison for separate fraud schemes targeting elderly Americans. Kishan Rajeshkumar Patel received over 5 years for defrauding victims of nearly $2.7 million by impersonating government officials. Moinuddin Mohammed was sentenced to eight years for a similar scam resulting in $6 million in losses.
