A helicopter carrying seven individuals crashed in a remote area of Uttarakhand on Sunday. The aircraft, which had just dropped pilgrims at the Kedarnath shrine, was en route to Gaurikund when it disappeared between Trijuginarayan and Gaurikund in Rudraprayag district. Inspector General Rajiv Swaroop confirmed the crash, noting the challenging location.
