A Cessna 414 carrying six individuals crashed into the Pacific Ocean near San Diego shortly after takeoff on Sunday. The US Coast Guard and San Diego Fire-Rescue responded to the incident, locating a debris field off Point Loma in waters approximately 200 feet deep. The plane, en route to Phoenix, went down around 12:30 pm.
