Work withdrawn from Punjab judge after HC admin recommends his compulsory retirement

Following the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s recommendation for his compulsory retirement, judicial responsibilities have been withdrawn from District and Sessions Judge Tejwinder Singh. The recommendation has been sent to the Punjab government for notification. Singh gained prominence for convicting six individuals in the Kathua rape and murder case, a trial moved to his court by the Supreme Court.
