Trump lists IBM, Raytheon among 5 firms to modernise US air traffic system

US President Donald Trump is considering IBM and Raytheon Technologies, among others, to modernize the nation’s aging air traffic control system. This push follows a tragic mid-air collision near Washington’s Reagan Airport. A $12.5 billion proposal is under consideration to replace control towers and radar systems.
