Farm leaders arrested in Punjab over a week ago have been released, and Jagjit Dallewal has ended his indefinite fast. The Supreme Court acknowledged Dallewal as a genuine leader while noting that other elements obstructed resolution efforts. The SC will now consider urging the Centre to address farmers’ demands.
