Cabinet has approved amendments to the Waqf (Amendment) Bill with changes recommended by the Parliamentary panel, clearing its path for discussion in the budget session. The bill includes recognition of existing ‘Registered Waqf by User’ only and ensures broader representation in waqf boards.
