Farmers in Maharashtra will receive an annual payout of Rs 15,000, combining the Centre’s PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana with an increased state share, announced CM Devendra Fadnavis. This decision was part of the Mahayuti election manifesto. The total amount will be given in three instalments, benefiting over 92 lakh farmers. The scheme targets farmers who do not pay income tax or receive a pension.
