The Bengal government has sanctioned the CBI to prosecute former R G Kar principal Sandip Ghosh on corruption charges. The Calcutta High Court has instructed the special CBI court to expedite the trial, following the CBI’s submission of a charge sheet and prosecution sanction against Ghosh.
