“HMPV not a threat”: Health experts urge as 7 cases reported in India in 2 days

Five cases of Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) have been reported in India, affecting infants and toddlers, creating anxiety among people. Former AIIMS Chief Dr Randeep Guleria assured the public to stay calm, as the virus causes mild infection and doesn’t require antibiotics. States like Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu are taking precautionary measures.
