‘Saavdhaan Agar Aapko Anjane …’: DoT’s ‘warning message’ to Jio, Airtel & Voda

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has directed telecom providers to play cybercrime awareness messages as caller tunes 8-10 times daily for three months. This initiative aims to combat rising cyber fraud. The caller tunes, provided by the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre, warn against scams like impersonation by officials. This follows government action to block fraudulent SIM cards and devices.
